Monkeypox Preferred Select Codes

This document addresses select codes for monkeypox that are not clearly articulated in interoperability documents. These codes were approved by AIRA’s Standards and Interoperability Steering Committee (SISC, a diverse committee with broad representation from IIS, EHRs, and other technology partners) on October 12, 2022, to support standardization across the IIS health IT ecosystem.
