Background/Overview

The IIS community has a long history of working collaboratively through consortia, peer networks, and other multi-jurisdictional groups to address shared priorities, exchange knowledge, and advance common solutions. Establishing clear structures for governance, communication, decision-making, and resource management can help these groups operate effectively and sustain participation over time.

These resources may be adapted based on a group’s purpose, size, membership, governance model, and level of formality.
