During this session, the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services (MDHHS) shared insights into their use of digital trust technology for issuing digital birth credentials. The presentation covered the benefits of digitally verifiable vital records, including faster access, enhanced security, and greater convenience for parents and school systems. Attendees also learned about best practices, challenges, and lessons from a recent educational pilot use case.
